Grant applicants are expected to use the grant application which has been designed for the year in which the application is being made. Except in the case of hardship as determined by the Board, applications made on outdated application forms shall be returned to the applicant with the instruction to resubmit it using the currently applicable form.

Please DO NOT use staples or print your grant application two-sided.

The Mignon Sherwood Delano Foundation prefers not to fund operating expenses, especially wages and/or benefits. The Board of Directors feels that such expenses should generally be funded by the applicant’s own efforts rather than from charitable sources.
We will make no exceptions to this policy.

Under no circumstances will Audits or Grant Applications be accepted by email or fax.

PLEASE NOTE: If your Audit with proof of proper expenditures (Invoices, Canceled Checks, Credit Card Statement, etc.) of all grant funds is not received by the 31st day of August, the Delano Foundation WILL NOT accept a grant application from your Organization for the following grant cycle.

Audits are expected no later than August 31, 2024.
